Scientific study about “Sleep & Exercise” | Sharing at a Sports Science Conferences

Belun Technology - December 29, 2021 - 0 comments

Scientists have proven that many critical processes occur during different stages of sleep. For example, during non-rapid eye movement (NREM), the circulatory system is repaired & recovered, blood flow to muscle increases, growth hormones are released & muscle is repaired. Many wearables are available in the market for tracking activities and sleep. So, can we use the biomarkers collected to provide insights into our training? This presentation will share how athletes’ sleep architecture and autonomic nervous system are affected by training intensity/schedule and races. Also, we will see how appropriate exercise can improve sleep health, from sleep disorders to anxiety.
